Overview:
I have experience using Homeseer but would like now like to use a Linux solution to controlling X10 so I can use a Linux server to control the house.

MisterHouse:
MisterHouse has an amazing amount of features, it is open source and based on perl.

HeyYu - Command line layer. - Two way communication. Can monitor system.
BottleRocket - Command line - One way communication.
xTend - Uses HeyYu
Blue Lava - CGI for web control
wish - Linux /dev support for X10
Xmms plugins - Make the Xmms MP3 player a juke box controlled by IR or RF X10 remote.
