Header Image Disabler
Overview
By clicking on the disable link, the random image that is normally displayed at the top of each page is hidden.
How it works
When the disabled or enabled link is clicked, a cookie is sent to your browser which keeps a record of whether you prefer to have the header image enabled or disabled. Each time a page is loaded the web server checks to see if you have the cookie on your computer and if it does it checks its value to determine whether to hide the header image.
Troubleshooting
If this function does not work please make sure you have cookies enabled. I have also found this function does not work with the Konqueror browser.
About the Random Images
The random images shown at the top of each page are from photos I have taken on my travels. If you wish to reproduce these photos, please ask my permission.
